Reiki

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing, which targets the energy fields around the body. I channel energy through my hands, placing them on or over the body to activate the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki treatments are non invasive.

Reiki is useful for both emotional and physical issues. Including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Chronic Pain

  • Stress and/or fatigue.

I have also used Reiki with great success on pet animals, including dogs and horses.

Indian Head Massage as practised in Asia for over 5,000 years. This works specifically on the area surrounding the head, scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper back. Indian head massage comes from Ayurveda, an ancient method involving natural therapies, taking into account mind, body and spirit.

What my clients say:

"Thank you Joan for my lovely relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage. Feel very relaxed. Highly recommend this treatment. The pressure and oils will be tailored to your needs. Leaving you feeling totally blissful." Dipika

”I have had a few Reiki sessions with Joan and what can I say other than amazing.

Joan is so professional and makes you feel so relaxed. I have bad anxiety and I felt that I had to do something. Well this was definitely it. I was able to relax and let my emotions go. I love having these session mainly because soon as I leave I feel like I have a huge weight lifted from my shoulders.

Talking to Joan really helped me to over come my emotions from a bereavement. I felt a lot lighter and the techniques she taught me were really useful and I still use them when I feel anxious or worried.

Opening up and letting go I find very hard but Joan has this way of helping me without me even realising I have done it.”
